Founded in 1955, Ferroli is an Italian heating company that employs 2,500 employees over 12 countries.The UK branch of the company was established in the 1990’s and has gone from strength to strength with a recent move to new premises in Derbyshire in 2021.

Ferroli designs and manufactures gas combi, regular and system boilers, as well as electric boilers.

Ferroli combi boilers

There are lots of benefits of fitting a combi boiler over a regular or system boiler. For a start, everything you need to produce hot water is contained within the unit, eliminating the need to install a storage tank or hot water cylinder. Combi boilers can also produce hot water on demand, without having to wait for a cylinder to heat up or refill.

The Ferroli Bluehelix combi model is an affordable and reliable boiler that has a 94% energy efficiency rating and comes with a 10 year parts and labour warranty when fitted with a high performance magnetic filter.

It is available in a choice of three sizes: 24.5kW, 28kW and 34kW.

Ferroli regular boilers

The Ferroli Bluehelix heat only gas boiler is the only regular boiler Ferroli manufactures. It has a stainless steel primary exchanger, a large backlit graphic display and a low consumption modulating heating circulator.

Its output size of 45.6kW makes this boiler suitable for large homes with 4+ bedrooms and up to 20 radiators.

Ferroli system boilers

System boilers are ideal for large homes or properties that have a high demand for hot water. They work by supplying hot water to a cylinder, where it is stored until you turn on the tap or shower. System boilers can provide hot water to multiple outlets at the same time, with the amount of hot water only limited to the size of the cylinder you have installed.

The Bluehlix RRT system boiler is available in 18kW, 24kW and 30kW, making it a good choice for small and medium-large homes.

It is fitted with a stainless steel heat exchanger, has a large graphic display and is incredibly silent when in operation. It also comes with a 10 year warranty if fitted with a high performance magnetic filter.

Ferroli electric boilers

For small homes or flats, or properties that aren’t connected to the gas network, an electric boiler has many advantages. They have fewer components than a gas boiler so are often cheaper to install and are less likely to suffer a fault. They also don’t need to be fitted with a flue or condensate pipe, meaning you can fit them almost anywhere in your home.

The Ferroli LEB electric boiler is fitted with 2 levels of anti-frost function and is virtually silent when in operation.

You’ll notice that electric boilers have much lower outputs compared to gas boilers. To calculate what size of electric boiler you need the the general rule of thumb is to allocate 1.5kW for each radiator in your home.The Ferroli LEB electric boiler is available in 6kW, 7.5kW, 9kW and 12kW output sizes.
