Intergas

Intergas has been operating for more than 50 years in the Netherlands but is a relatively new name to the UK market.

The company manufactures a variety of combi, regular and system boilers, which are available in a range of outputs to suit properties of all sizes.

The design of all of the boilers is unique to Intergas: it features a two-in-one aluminium heat exchanger that reduces heat loss and increases efficiency in performance.

It also means there is no requirement to have a secondary domestic hot water heat exchanger or diverter valve, which cuts down the number of components and reduces the possibility of a parts failure. Intergas is so confident in the reliability of the heat exchanger that it is guaranteed for 10 years.

Intergas combi boilers

There are six models in the Intergas combi boiler range, varying in price, output size and length of warranty.

The premium models are the HRE, available in four outputs, and the ECO RF, which comes with a 10 year parts and labour warranty.

Combi boilers connect directly to the mains water and supply hot water whenever you need it, eliminating the need for a hot water cylinder.

Boilers with smaller output sizes are more suited to homes or apartments with only a couple of bedrooms and one bathroom, whilst models with output sizes of 30kW+ are ideal for properties with 4-5 bedrooms and two or more bathrooms.

Intergas regular boilers

Intergas manufacture one model of boiler in their regular boiler range: the Compact HRE OV. This boiler is available in a choice of three outputs: 18.7kW, 23.7kW and 27kW. It also comes with a parts and labour warranty of seven years.

If you already have a regular boiler that needs replacing, a new regular boiler is by far the best choice. This is because you’ll already have a cold water storage tank and hot water cylinder installed.

Intergas system boilers

System boilers are a good choice if you have a higher demand for hot water than a combi boiler can supply. They work by producing hot water which is sent to a hot water cylinder where it is stored until you need it.

The number of bathrooms you have in your property and the level of demand for hot water will influence what size of system boiler is best for your needs. Homes with multiple bathrooms will benefit from a system boiler with a larger output so that it can keep up with the demand.

The Intergas HRE SB is available in four different outputs: 18.7kW, 23.7kW, 27kW and 42.5kW.
