One of the oldest boiler brands on the market, Potterton’s history stretches back over 150 years. Founded in 1850 by Thomas Potterton, the company was acquired by Baxi in 1999 and is still part of the Baxi heating group.
Potterton manufactures a range of combi, regular and system boilers, all of which are available in multiple outputs to suit the size of your home.
All of the boilers come with a 2 year parts and labour warranty, except for the Titanium range which comes with a fantastic 7 year warranty as standard.
Potterton combi boilers
Potterton offers a choice of 5 models in their combi boiler range, with the heating outputs ranging from 24kW to 40kW.
Combi boilers are an excellent choice for homeowners who want hot water available on demand. As soon as you turn on the shower or run a tap, the combi boiler fires up and provides you with instant hot water. You also don’t need to install a hot water cylinder or cold water storage tank, which can save valuable space in your home..
Potterton regular boilers
Potterton’s regular boilers vary in output from 12kW to 30kW.
Regular boilers, also known as traditional boilers, use a cold water storage tank and hot water cylinder to supply hot water for your central heating and taps, shower and baths. If you already have a regular boiler installed, then it makes a lot of sense to keep the existing tanks, cylinders and pipework and fit a replacement regular boiler.
Potterton system boilers
System boilers are similar to regular boilers in that both require a hot water cylinder to store hot water; however a system boiler doesn’t need a water storage tank to supply cold water. Instead, a system boiler takes water directly from the mains.
There are five different system boilers that Potterton manufactures, all available in a range of outputs from 12kW to 30kW to suit homes of any size.
