Ideal
Founded in 1906, Ideal Heating has been designing and manufacturing heating solutions for over 100 years.
Offering a wide range of combi, regular and system boilers, Ideal has a model to suit houses of any layout and size.
Ideal boilers aren’t as expensive as some other boiler manufacturers but they still provide great value for money and are reliable and well-built.
One of the things you want to consider when buying a new boiler is the warranty that comes with it. There’s nothing worse than forking out for a product and then having to spend money on repairs after only a couple of years. The Ideal Vogue Max and the Ideal Logic Max are both available with warranties of up to 10 years – one of the best on the market.
Ideal boilers are also highly efficient, with almost all of their boilers carrying an ErP ‘A-rating’ for efficiency. Having an A-rated boiler means that it is in the highest category for cutting down wasted energy during the heating process, which benefits the environment and saves you money.
Ideal combi boilers
For modern homes and houses that don’t have a very high demand for hot water, a combi boiler is an ideal choice. It connects directly to the main water supply, meaning it can provide instant hot water on demand. This also eliminates the need for installing a cold water storage tank and hot water cylinder, freeing up lots of space inside your property.
The combi boilers from Ideal are available in several outputs, ranging from 18kW to 35kW. They are also all ErP A-rated for efficiency and come with warranties of between 2-10 years, depending on the model.

Ideal regular boilers
Regular boilers are supplied by a cold water storage tank, which is usually installed above the boiler in the loft. The boiler heats this water and transfers it to a hot water cylinder where it is kept warm until it is needed.
If your home already has a regular boiler, it is usually much easier and cheaper to install a new regular boiler as you already have the existing tank, cylinder and pipework fitted.
Ideal regular boilers are available in a range of outputs from 12kW to 150kW.
Ideal system boilers
System boilers require a hot water cylinder to store hot water, but unlike regular boilers they don’t need a cold water storage tank as the boiler connects directly to the main water.
For homes that have a high demand for hot water or struggle with low water pressure, a system boiler is a good choice. The amount of hot water it can deliver is only limited to the size of the hot water cylinder, meaning it is capable of powering multiple taps of showers at the same time.
Ideal manufactures several models of system boilers, available in outputs ranging from 15kW to 32kW.
